So much to do in so little time

It's crazy that it's only the end of September and I'm doing Halloween crafts and Christmas crafts. That's a lot! I guess I just didn't think about people buying for Christmas so early. I guess I should have since every store you go in already has Halloween things on sale and Christmas stuff out.

I'm wondering if I should just skip the Halloween crafts and save them for next year and jump right into the Christmas crafts.

I already started on some Christmas stuff but thought for sure that I had time before I needed to put them out. Guess I was wrong. I have so many great ideas that I guess I better get started. Don't wanna be late.

Cancelled Give A Way

I guess my give a way idea was a bust. I was trying to think "outside" the box. I guess I need to come up with something a little better than free shipping.

The more I think about it the more I realize that everyone does free shipping or a free gift.

My goal for my etsy shop isn't to be like everyone else. I want to be different. I want people to know that I care about my customer and want to make sure that they not only like my items but they love them.

I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I'm still brainstorming. I'm sure I will come up with something soon. I hope.

Until then I just wanted to post a blog and tell everyone that I've cancelled my give a way. Not that it was helping any.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I care about your feedback, good or bad. However, I would like it if it wasn't horrible. :)

I guess I'm off to figure out what people want and the best way to sell it.

Any ideas? Please let me know.

New Halloween Item

I have a new item in my shop.

I made a Halloween Wreath. It's really cute and very unique. It's made of paper mache! I had a great time making it and would love to share it with you.

So I made this little bank for my little girl.
It's a cute little place for her to put her money.

I have a pink flower choker. It's really cute. The flower is made of pink felt. It has a black button and a pink jewel in the center.The choker is made of black felt. It fastens with velcro and has a pink jewel.

New at This

So, I'm new at all of this. I didn't know when I made my shop on esty that so much work had to go into it. It's pretty complicated. First you need a shop, then a blog, a facebook and twitter. Most of those I had never heard of and I don't know how to work facebook. Not only that but you need to chat on etsy.

I feel like I'm always on the computer. If I'm always on the computer when am I supposed to have time to make things?

I guess I need to get more organized...who knows.

All I know is that even though this is alot of work...and I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm happy. I love my shop. It makes me feel good. It's fun and exciting. Plus I have made some pretty nice friends from etsy.

So I guess if you look at the big picture...I'm one of those lucky people who have a job that they love. If it's something you love then it doesn't seem like work. It's just fun.

I'm sure I will make mistakes but I will learn. And I will get better.

So, I hope that you will check out my work in progress shop and I hope that you will keep checking it out. Maybe one day I will have something that you will love.
